Education Classes

OK'd for Spring

Three in-service education classes have been approved for State-aid for the spring semester and are sponsored by the Warren-Rappahannock public school system. Public school teachers under contract will receive State-aid, but others wishing to attend will be required to pay a tuition rate of $43.00. These courses are made available so teachers can up-date themselves and raise certificates as high as possible. The courses are G.S. 25Reading in Elementary School. This course will be held at Ra ppa ha nnock County High Sc'.’ool with the date to be announced later; G.S. 6-World Regional Geography will begin Wednesday, February 7 at Warren County High School, room 230; GS. 3-Basic Economic Principals will begin February 8 at Warren County 'High School. ■ t

Official Board Meets

The Official Board of the Sperryville Methodist Church met with Mrs. Lee Swindler last Wednesday night. Those present were the Rev. Edward Pruitt, Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Devers, Mr. and Mrs. George Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. John Eubank, Jr., Mr6. Virginia Lewis, Mrs. Nina B, Brown, Mrs. F. D.
