Carlyle Brown
Carlyle Brown of Boston died Monday, January 29, 1968 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. He was 73.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Flossie Butler Brown of Boston, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. W. Thomas Winkler, one sister, Mrs. Robert E. Hawkins of Silver Springs, Maryland and a granddaughter, Katheryn Winkler of Boston.
Funeral services were held at the Clore Funeral Home chapel at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. John McKay of Culpeper off iciated and burial was in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Edmund Burke, Robert E. Hawkins, Philip Winkler, Stockton Butler, Patrick Butler and Howard Hudson. Mr. Brown, a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church was a retired merchant and farmer. He was a lifelongresi dent of Culpeper County. His parents were the late Jones Lee Brown and Annie Maude Smith.
