Harold Alger, Jr., son of Mr.j and Mrs. Alger of Berryville on Sunday, January 28, 1968. The Rev. Milton Switzer performed the ceremony at three o’clock in the afternoon at the Gourdvine Baptist Church. Vases of mixed white flowers, palms and lighted candelabra decorated the church. A program of organ music was presented by Miss Rebecca Bailey of Rixeyville and included the wedding marches. Mr. Beebe gave his daughter in marriage. She wore a full length gown of white velvet designed with an Empire waistline and long tapered sleeves! ending in a bridal point. Thel skirt had an inset of silver white brocade in the front;. Her long flowing veil extended into a train and was attached to a multiple bow of white velvet. She carried a cascade of white carnations and eucalyptus.
