Jackson
Malcolm Kelly (Jack) Jackson, 57, of Huntly, Va. died at his home Monday, September 16, 1968. He had been in failing health for several years.
He was bom in Sperryville, a son of the late George and Betty Pullen Jackson. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U. S. Army and was a retired employee of St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Washington, D.C.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. E. Viola Williams Jackson of Huntly; one half-brother, John Evans of Luray; three half-sisters, Mrs. Mary Burke and Mrs. Guy Burke, both of Washington, Va., and Mrs. Tom Presgraves of Hollywood, Calif.
A funeral service was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Willis Chapel, with the Rev. C. Edward Pruitt officiating. Interment was in Willis Chapel Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Elmer Jenkins, John Burke, Trenton Burke, Lynn Thompson, Bobby Welch and Cecil Adkins.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Charles Corder, Bill North, Daniel Williams, Cecil Adkins, Gilbert Smith and Bouser Williams.
