j sisters of the groom, Denise Piehl, and Mrs. Joseph H. Aylor, Jr. They wore gowns of empire style yellow satin and lace with j: headpieces of daisies. 1 Miss Merry Kalb of Suffleld, Conn, was maid of honor. Her gown of green was identical in detail to those worn by the bridesmaids. Best man for the groom was his father, Mr. Edgar Gardner. Ushers were Douglas Gardner, brother of the groom, Jack Branscome, Don Branscome, James Gardner, Clayton Scott and Allen Price. 'Die bride is a graduate of Wakefield High School in Arlington and attended Radford College. Hie groom is a graduate of Washington and Lee High School, Arlington and attended
| Wytheville College. y The couple will make their home in Blacksburg, where Mr. Gardner will be a student at Virginia Tech. Mrs. Gardner is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor and Mrs. Della B. Howard, and the late J. Bradley Atkins, all of Sperryville.
