The annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Flint Hill Methodist Church will be held Saturday, April 5 at the Fire Hall at 1 p.m. Each child is requested to bring 3 eggs.
A special service will be held at the Flint Hill Methodist Church tonight, Maundy Thursday. April 3 at 7:30 p.m. The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated at this time. A cordial invitation is issued to attend this worship service.
On Easter morning a Sunrise Service will be held at the Flint Hill Methodist Church at 6 a.m. All churches of the county are invited to attend.
A service of Litany and a short talk by the rector will be made at Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington at noon on Good Friday. A service of Holy Communion will be held at Trinity Church at the 11 a.m. worship on Easter Sunday.
A Maundy Thursday Communion Service will be held at the Woodville Baptist Church, April 3 at 7:45 p.m.
Easter Sunday School will be at 10:00 a.m. with Worship Service and Communion at 11:00 o’clock
Revival services start Easter night at Woodville Baptist Church at 7:45 p.m. continuing nightly through Friday April 11. Guest speaker each evening will be the Rev. Robert Ellis, pastor of Alum Spring Baptist Church, Culpeper. The Rev. James R. Bryant of Richmond will conduct services at the Washington Baptist Church Easter Sunday, April 6 at 11:00 a.m.
A Sunrise Service will be held Easter Sunday morning at the ) Chester Gap Baptist Mission 'beginning at 5:30 a.m. Easter Sunday evening, a candlelight service will be held at the Baptist Mission at 6:30 p.m. The public is extended a cordial invitation to attend.
Revival services will be held from April 7 through April 16 at the Chester Gap Baptist Mission with the pastor, the Rev. Roy Mathena officiating.
