Mr*. W. F. Moffett
Mrs. Louemma Carter Moffett, 79, of Washington, Va., died Monday, March 31, 1969 in the Winchester Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Rappahannock County, daughter of the late French Pendleton Carter and Judith Miller Carter. Mrs. Moffett’s family has been active in public affairs for many years. Her late husband William Frank Moffett was commonwealth’s attorney in Rappahannock before his death, and her brother Curry Carter of Staunton, is a former state senator from the 22nd district which includes Augusta County and the cities of Staunton and Waynesboro. Her son William F. Moffett, jr. is county court judge in Rappahannock County. She was a member of Washington Baptist Church.
Besides her brother and son Mrs. Moffett is survived by three grandchildren, William F. Moffett, III, Edward Page Moffett and Jean Carter Moffett.
A funeral service will be held Thursday (to-day) at the Washington Baptist Church at 2 p.m., the Rev. Warren Wilbur officiating. Burial will follow in the Miller family cemetery near Ben Venue. Pallbearers will be E. M. Jones, T. M. Johnston, C. E. Giles, Rayner V. Snead, John R. DeBergh, W. G. Eastham, J. W. Fletcher and Richard Latham. Clore Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hazel Frazier
Mrs. Hazel Mae Frazier, 29, of Amissville died at Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton on March 27, 1969. She was the daughter of Mrs. Evelyn S. Burroughs who survives and the late Edward Kemper. She is survived by her husband, Jack F. Frazier; two daughters, Brenda Kay and Arlene Renee Frazier; a son Charles William Frazier, all at home; her step-father, Charles Burroughs of Amissville; two sisters, Mrs. Gloria Clatterbuck of Warrenton and Mrs. Doris Simms of Rixeyville; and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Elinor Stover of Amissville. A funeral service was held Sunday at the Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton with the Rev. W. A. Layman, pastor of Amissville Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was in Amissville Methodist Cemetery.

Edward F. Brown
A graveside service for Edward Ficklin Brown, 74, of Alexandria will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Culpeper Masonic Cemetery with the Rev. Gordon George officiating. „
Mr. Brown, a native of Culpeper County, died Tuesday, April 1, 1969 in an Alexandria hospital. He was a retired metropolitan policeman and for many years was on duty at the White House. He was the son of the late Fannie Browning and Joseph H. Brown, and a member of Gourdvine Baptist Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Charles R. Brown of Arlington and James H. Brown, Richmond. Clore Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
