opring Rummage Sales
Spring Rummage Sales conducted by the Washington Ladies Auxiliary will begin Thursday, May 1 and will be held in the basement of the Washington Post Office each Thursday and Friday during the month of May.
Anyone having any saleable articles which they would like to dispose of are asked to contact Mrs. W. B. Jenkins, Washington. Now that it is spring house cleaning time, many unwanted items will surely turn up and will be gratefully received for the rummage sales.

Elect Officers
The Rappahannock Junior Women’s Club met Tuesday, March 25, at the Trinity Episcopal Parish Hall. The meeting was called to order by the temporary chairman, Miss Judy Burtner. Miss Sue Many was appointed temporary secretary. The meeting was opened by the reading of the Club Collect. During the business session, a Club constitution was drawn up and adopted by those present.
Those present were Mrs. Judy Mullough, Mrs. Pattie Titchenell, Mrs. Valeria Jones, Miss Sue Many, Mrs. Karen Beard, Mrs. Georgia Sophia and Miss Judy Burtner.
The next meeting will be held Tuesday, April 22, at the Trinity Episcopal Parish Hall at 7:30 p.m. Mrs. Karen Beard and Mrs. Valeria Jones will serve as hostesses. Officers and con\mittee chairman will be elected at that time.
