Frost To Seek 10th

Term As Delegate

Tom Frost of Warrenton will seek his 10th term in the House of Delegates as a candidate in the Democratic primary on July 15th, he announced today.

Frost, who represents Fauquier, Warren and Rappahannock Counties in the state legislature, was first elected in 1952 following the retirement of the late Lake Triplett.

He is Chairman of the Agriculture Committee; ranking member of the Appropriations Committee; a member of the Rules Committee, the Roads and Internal Navigation Committee, and the Inter-state Cooperation Committee. In the 1966-1968 term Frost served as the Chairman of the Virginia Advisory Legislative Council and is serving his sixth term on this committee. He is also a member of the Governor’s Budget Advisory Committee, and the Economy in State Government Committee.

He is a native of Fauquier County and was educated at Marshall High School and the Virginia Episcopal School in Lynchburg.

Frost has been President of The Fauquier Hospital since its inception 15 years ago. He served as member and Chairman of the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors for 16 years.
