Miss Phyllis Verner of Falls Church spent Thursday and Friday with her mother Mrs. A. M. Verner and sister Mrs. Mary V. Updike. Miss Segar Jones is spending this week with her parents Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Jones on spring vacation from Westhampton College. Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke were visitors Monday and Tuesday of their son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Ashton Burke in Warrenton.

Miss Annie Miller Almond and Mrs. J.W. Coates were Friday visitors in Charlottesville.

J. Carroll Racer, Jr. remains a patient in Newton D. Baker Veterans’s Hospital in Martinsburg, W. Va. and is visited regularly by Mrs. Racer and other members of his family.

Mrs. W.G. Eastham and daughter Marian and Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett were Sunday luncheon guests of Mrs. W.H. Massie, Jr.

Brock Minor of Richmond was an overnight guest Friday of Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller at Mt. Prospect.

J. Stant Weaver spent the weekend with his son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Nick Penaranda and family in Fairfax, and was joined there by his son John Weaver of Washington, D.C. John Weaver has recently returned from a ten day trip to Puerto Rico.
