Miss Phyllis Verner of Falls Church spent Thursday and Friday with her mother Mrs. A. M. Verner and sister Mrs. Mary V. Updike. Miss Segar Jones is spending this week with her parents Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Jones on spring vacation from Westhampton College. Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke were visitors Monday and Tuesday of their son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Ashton Burke in Warrenton.

Miss Annie Miller Almond and Mrs. J.W. Coates were Friday visitors in Charlottesville.

J. Carroll Racer, Jr. remains a patient in Newton D. Baker Veterans’s Hospital in Martinsburg, W. Va. and is visited regularly by Mrs. Racer and other members of his family.

Mrs. W.G. Eastham and daughter Marian and Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett were Sunday luncheon guests of Mrs. W.H. Massie, Jr.

Brock Minor of Richmond was an overnight guest Friday of Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller at Mt. Prospect.

Mr. and Mrs. David Collins and daughter Susan Michelle of New Carrollton, Md. were weekend guests of Mrs. Collins’ parents Mr. and Mrs. William A. Curtis.

Sunday guests of Mrs. J.M. Lillard were Mrs. Evelyn Mageath and daughter Barbara of Front Royal. Mrs. Harold Faulconer of Orange spent Friday with her grandmother Mrs. W.M. Fletcher.

Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Miller were visitors Sunday of Dr. and Mrs. G. Tyler Miller in Harrisonburg and Captain William Weiner in Bridgewater.

Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Keyser, Mrs. Elmo D. Flynt, Dr. Kathleen Munn, Miss Margaret Ludwig, Mrs. Henry M. Keyser and Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Wood of Sperry were Saturday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. A.G. Moseley at Rixeyville. *

J. Stant Weaver spent the weekend with his son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Nick Penaranda and family in Fairfax, and was joined there by his son John Weaver of Washington, D.C. John Weaver has recently returned from a ten day trip to Puerto Rico.

J.D. Keyser, Mrs. F. Downing Wood with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller of Flint Hill were Saturday dinner guests of Captain William Weiner in Bridgewater.

Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Paulson and daughter Lynn of Newport News are expected to be Friday overnight guests of Mrs. Paulson’s parents Mr. and Mrs. W.C, Campbell of Twinland.

Mrs. E.A. McNear is a patient al the Ft. Belvoir Hospital. Col. and Mrs. McNear’s son Major Richard McNear and Miss Nancy Jear Beeghly of Alexandria were guests Sunday and Monday al Greenwood.

Mr. and Mrs. M.H. Forward ol I Alexandria spent the weekenc and Monday at their home ir j Harris Hollow.

Mr. and Mrs. William M Carrigan of Washington, D.C spent the weekend at their hom( Avon Hall. On Friday evening they were hosts to a meeting o the Rappahannock Library Boarc which was preceded by buffei supper.
