Miss Audrey Darlene Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Stoner Davis of Front Royal, became the bride of Louis Printz Moore, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Printz Moore of Flint Hill, on Saturday, March 30, 1969. The ceremony took place in the Marlow Heights Baptist Church, Front Royal at two o’clock in the afternoon. The Rev. Robert J. Woodside officiated. The church was decorated with palms, white mums and gladioli and lighted candelabra. Miss Linda Griffith, cousin of the bridegroom, presented a program of nuptial music and wedding marches. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a full-length gown of white crepe. The Empire bodice was designed with a sculptured neckline, and was accented with appliques of Alencon lace edged with scallops. The long tapered sleeves ended in points over the hands. The relaxed sheath skirt was enriched with a wide tunic overlay of Alencon lace, and was complemented with a removable chapel train which flowed softly from two self-fabric bows at the shoulders. Her hand-rolled veil of imported silk illusion fell from a cluster of rosettes and petals embroidered with pearls. She carried a Bible topped with a white orchid and satin streamers tied in lover’s knots.
