Royal was matron of honor for her sister. Her formal gown was of light pink Karate cloth designed with a high neckline, elbow length sleeves and A-line skirt. The neckline and full length drape attached at the shoulders featured a border of Venice lace entwined with green ribbon. She wore a veiled headdress of pink petals, and her flowers were a nosegay of pink daisies and baby’s breath with pink streamers. Robert Earl Moore of Flint Hill was best man for his cousin and ushers were James Bowling of Washington, D. C. and Charles Bowling of Front Royal. At the reception held in the :hurch social hall, Miss Dorothy Moore, sister of the bridegroom, presided at the punch bowl while Mrs. Calvin Bell, the bride’s aunt, served the wedding cake. Miss Carol Sue Bumgardner attended the guest book. The bride’s mother wore a lilac knit dress with matching accessories and corsage of white cymbidium orchids. Mrs. Moore chose for her son’s wedding, a yellow two-piece dress with yellow and black accessories and a corsage of white cymbidium orchids.
For traveling, the bride wore a blue A-line dress with matching cape, black patent leather accessories and the orchid from her Bible. After a southern wedding trip, the couple will live in Flint Hill.
