Injury Slight In

Massies Cnr. Crash

Two vehicles were involved in a collision at the intersection of Routes 211 and 522 at Massies Corner Monday morning. According to Trooper P. P. Dicks who investigated operators of the vehicles were Mrs. Mildred Noce of Sperryville and Dr. Raymond B. Allen of Hint Hill.

Mrs. Noce was traveling east on Route 211 in a 68 Buick when Dr. Allen operating a 68 Rambler station wagon entered Route 211 from Route 522 and pulled to the right lane in front of the Noce car. Mrs. Noce ran off the right of the road to avoid the station wagon and in so doing struck the bank and the rear of her car swung around and barely struck the rear of the Allen vehicle.

Extensive damage was done the front of the Noce car and was estimated at about $700. Damage estimate to the Rambler was $75.

According to Mr. Dicks, Mrs. Noce sustained contusions of the mouth and nose. Dr. Allen was not injured, but was charged with failing to yield the right of way.
