We, the undersigned, long-time residents of Rappahannock County or intimately associated with the County over many years, would like to endorse to the voters of Rappahannock County, Duncan C. Gibb of Front Royal, Warren County, Virginia.

Duncan Gibb, whom we have known for many years, has during his entire life been an outstanding civic leader in his community and has been foremost in the support of public schools. (During the year the public schools were closed by State Law in Warren County, he kept education available to the children of the county and served as president of the Warren County Educational Foundation.) He has supported each civic endeavor that has come to his attention, these including: Serving as chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Warren Memorial Hospital; Chairman of the Industrial Development Commission; Member of the Jaycees; Member of the Rotary Club; Work with the March of Dimes and the Community Chest; An active church leader; and a charter member and first president of the Warren County Chapter of th^ Isaac Walton League.

t"ie has been an outstanding citizen whose honesty and integrity canrrot be questioned.

These are not interests or qualities that he has developed only during the period thaf he is seeking public office but have been a way of life with him.
