A meeting of Shenandoah | District $tudent Cooperative Association Which includes 16 schools in seven counties was held Saturday, October 25 at Rappahannock County High School. Terry Russell, president of the local chapter and District Chairman, presided at the meeting.

Registration was held for the more than 200 delegates from 9 to 10 a.m. and an assembly followed. Tom Heitz of Harrisonburg High School, who is vice-chairman of Shenandoah District, led the Pledge to the Flag and the invocation was given by Sandra Payne of R.C.H.S.

The group received a welcome from local principal Dennis Wingfield, and Superintendent of Warren - Rappahannock Public School, O. A. Norton made a few remarks to the assembly. Guests were introduced and included Mrs. Kathleen A. Guinn of Richmond, State SC A Coordinator; Mrs. E. K. Monnington of Warren County, District Advisory Board member; State SCA President Danny Northern of Stafford and Patty Baldwin of Warren County, Regional representative.
