This is the remains of a 1968 Plymouth convertible in which Charles Edward Bowling Jr. ot {)' Front Royal was fatally injured on Route 522 near Huntly Tuesday night. The crash occurred about 11 p.m. as he was traveling south. He rounded a curve, ran off the left of the highway, veered back across to the right, struck a utility pole and tree. He apparently died instantly of multiple injuries. Bowling was 27 years old and a native of Rappahannock Trooper J B Willis investigated the crash.
