! Williams Child Injured By Rotary Mower

Glenn Williams, 8 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Williams of Chester Gap, sustained severe injury Monday evening when he was cut with a rotary lawn mower. The boy apparently fell in front of a riding mower operated by his brother and the machine literally severed a portion of his buttocks. He is a patient in Warren Memorial Hospital where his condition was reported as satisfactory Tuesday night. He will probably have to undergo some grafting.

Dennis Wingfield Heads Education Association

Dennis B. Wingfield, principal of Rappahannock County High School, has been elected president of the Rappahannock County Education Association for the 1970-71 school year.

Mrs. Wingfield, who is completing his fourth year as principal of the high school, served as treasurer of the Education from 1967-69. He is a member of the District 10 Principals’ and Coaches’ Association and of the District N Principals’ Association.
