Mrs. Arlon E. Parks spent Friday with her sister, Mrs. Shirley Shelton in Alexandria and on Saturday accompanied Mrs. Shelton to Spencerville, Md. to attend the District Quarterly Meeting of the Free Methodist Churches of the Maryland-Virginia Conference.
Baptism Rites
The Order of Holy Baptism was conferred Sunday at Trinity Episcopal Church by the Rev. William M. Hargett to David Duncan Dillard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Benson Dillard of Ft. Loudon, Pa. Acting as godparents were Moncure Duncan, Rayner V. Snead, Jr. and Betty Anne Perrin.
Mrs. Dillard is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lee Smith who entertained at luncheon for relatives and friends at Spring House Farm following the service.
