Flint Hill Rescue Squad on April 29 brought Mrs. Mary R. Hottle from Warren Memorial Hospital to her home in Sycamore Hollow. Also on the 29th Michael Dearing was taken from home in Flint Hill to the Warren Memorial Hospital. On April 30 Mrs. B. M. Varner was taken from home in Sperryville to Winchester Memorial Hospital. On May 4 Chester Gap Rescue Squad took Glenn Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Williams, to Warren Memorial Hospital. Donna Williams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Williams, was taken to Winchester Memorial Hospital on Tuesday
Amissville Rescue Squad took Mrs. Betty Reid to Culpeper Memorial Hospital on May 4. The same day fCldridge Grigsby was taken to the Culpeper Hospital by the squad and transferred later by private ambulance to Winchester Memorial Hospital. May 6 the squad responded to a call to a woods near Amissville where a tree had fallen on Claude Owens, an employee of West Virginia Pulp and Paper Co.
Washington Fire Company responded to an alarm for a woods fire on Harris Hollow road Tuesday night. Washington Fire Company was called AP1^ 30 to a Art at Merrill’s Garage.
Rappahannock Rescue Squad on May 2 took Mrs. C. E. John, Jr. from home in Sperryville to ' Culpeper Memorial Hospital. On May 3 they reported to a call to the home of Eddie Sisk In Jenkins’ Hollow but services were « not needed.
