Features Panel
The Parent Teacher Association of Rappahannock County Elementary School will meet Wednesday, April 21 at the school. The program will be concerned with Mental Health and the topic for discussion will be “Fears of Parents and Children”.
Among those appearing on the Panel Discussion will be the Rev. W. M. Hargett, the Rev. William Harrison, the Rev. B. G. Titchenell, and Rev. Jerry Campbell, Mrs. W. A. Bun tin, Miss Ellen Mustoe, Mrs. Lee Thornton, Mrs. Mary Quaintance and Mr. James Martin.
Vehicle Overturns in
Median On 211
A 1967 Ford station wagon with eight occupants overturned in the median of. Route 211 just west of Amissville Sunday afternoon. Four of the people sustained injuries, though none very severe. Silas Ollen Johnson of Washington, D. C. was operating the vehicle which went out of control as he was traveling east near the end of the dual lane highway. He received a bruised shoulder. Evelyn LaVerne Johnson sustained a back injury; Larry Johnson had a concussion and Silas Ollen Johnson Jr. received a broken leg, according to Trooper J. B. Willis. All were taken to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton by the Amissville Rescue Squad. Johnson was charged with reckless driving, said the officer.
