Mrs. Guy Burke was the Easter weekend guest of her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Trenton Burke in Culpeper. She also visited her grandson Richard Burke, Mrs. Burke and son Richy and Mrs. A. M. Verner in the Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke were guests from Friday until Sunday of their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. John Metzger at Lorton. On Saturday they attended the wedding of their grandson John Wayne Metgzer and Miss Lou Hans bough at the Cranford Methodist Church, Lorton. Enroute home on Sunday they visited Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Vaughan of Stafford.
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Reams of Richmond and Miss Carolyn Johnston, a student at V.C.U., Richmond, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. T. Morgan Johnston at their home on Gay Street. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller were guests Thursday at a family luncheon at the home of Mrs. James M. Settle in Front Royal. Other guests were Dr. and Mrs. G. Tyler Miller and Dr. Miller’s daughter, Miss Elise Browning Miller of Harrisonburg, General and Mrs. Loomis Booth of Washington, D. C. and Spaiivand Mrs. H. T. Miller of Front Royal. Mrs. L. J. Turner spent the Easter weekend with Mr. and Mrs. James Pharr in Newport News and Mr. and Mrs. William S. Dewhirst in Richmond. Major James S. Willis returned to Plattsburg, N. Y. on Monday, after spending the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller. Mrs. Willis and children Michelle and Jimmie remained with her parents until Wednesday when they were accompanied to Union Station in Washington, D. C. by Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Elmo D. Flvnt
