Sandra Kay Foster, a Longwood College senior from Flint Hill, will begin eight weeks of classroom c teaching at Monterey Elementary School in Roanoke on January 31.
During this final phase of her teacher training she is under the direction of a local subject-matter teacher working closely with Longwood faculty members and supervisors from the college’s department of education who makes frequent visits to the areas of student teaching.
