FEBRUARY 9 (Wednesday) — Area Fruit School, 10 a.m. Sperryville Fire Hall, topics included will be: Results with smaller apple trees, a round up of apple and peach varieties, disease and insect control, and growers improve their profit potential.
THE VIRGINIA Beef Cattle Convention will be at Natural Bridge from Noon Friday, February 11 til lunch Saturday, February 12. Aside from the general' business meeting, discussions will center around “New and Different Methods of Wintering Cows” and “How To Produce Feeder Calves.”
