But before any Rappahannock countian * rebels at the thought of his land being bought up, as in the case of American national parks, they should know that in Great Britain a national park is designated, not acquired. The farming land remains in private ownership, with t^e only stipulation being that it remain fann land. * y
What a contrast to so many expediences in northern Virginia, where development and the consequent rising taxes have forced farmers off their land.
