better serve the community in which we live. This report is a summary of the important accomplishments and statistics in regard to the fire department and rescue squad.
Our Accomplishments • 1. Our active membership almost doubled. 2. The addition of more qualified first-aiders in the rescue squad. 3. The purchase of six complete sets of much needed running gear. 4. The purchase and installment of more emergency red lights for the fire truck.
5. The purchasing of two complete sets of breathing equipment for firefighting.
6. And last but not least, the purchase of another truck, a Ford water tank, to provide more water for firefighting.
Summary of Rescue Squad Emergency Calls: Total emergency rescue calls for year, 75; total man hours while in sefyice, 433-1/2; total miles squad traveled on runs, 4,622.
