Mr. and Mrs. Keith Brockmann of Rising Sun, Md. were callers last week of Mrs. A. M. Verner. Mr. Brockmann was a former school teacher in Rappahannock.
Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Pickard and daughter Diane of Greensboro, N. C., spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. HaroldScoggin. Their sons Bill and Mike returned home with them after spending the week as guests of Bill Scoggin.

Mrs. W. H. Massie and Mrs. T. C. Lea were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Massie in Amissville and celebrated the birthday of Mrs. Massie’s granddaughter Sarah Massie.
Guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. Richard McNear were Mrs. McNear’s parents Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Beeghly of Poland, Ohio, her brother and sister-inlaw Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Beeghly and two sons of Ventura, Cal. and Mr. and Mrs. Don Ashcraft and two children of Atlanta, Ga.
Mrs. Guy Burke was the guest from Friday until Sunday of her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Trenton Burke in Culpeper. On Saturday she visited Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Jenkins and was a supper guest of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burke.
Mrs. Lewis Butler and children Jeffrey, Philip and Alicia of McLean spent this week with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Jenkins on Gay Street.
