Trail Ride Clubbers to

meet on Saturday

MEMBERS OF TRAIL RIDERS of Rappahannock have scheduled a second meeting for this Saturday, August 19, at 7:30 at John and Patty Alexanders on Fodderstack Road. On this week’s agenda is a discussion of upcoming trail rides.

Their first ride, held in Huntly on August 6, was successful, with 35 riders turning out.

It was the first ride for Meg Davis of Culpeper and her pony Honeybee, but both looked like seasoned trail riders. The Eastham clan was well turned out with Marion atop her Thoroughbred. The Alexanders worked out their two young Arabians, while the Penningtons had their hands full of Quarter Horse.

Persons unable to attend the Saturday 'meeting but who would like to hold a ride in their area should call Patty Alexander at 675-*3307. □
