Rappahannock High is receiving a face-lifting during the between sessions summer season. The interior walls arp being given a new coat of paint and any visible defects are being repaired. Roger Flinchum, who dispenses the three R’s during the school session, pulls a Jeckel and Hyde and reappears as a master painter this summer. School custodian Alvin Atkins has washed, waxed and polished the floors until you can almost see you r face in them when he isn’t busy manicuring the grounds and taking care of the umpteen other duties at the school. James Adkins, another teacher, is also helping with the paint job.
