SOUAD NOTES
Washington Rescue Squad on August 5 assisted Sperryville Rescue Squad at an auto accident in front of the home of C. K. Estes in Sperryville. Further service not needed.
Washington Fire Department was called to the residence of Edward Hudson near Washington on August 14, for a basement fire.
Thursday evening the Chester Gap ambulance took Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson of Rixeyville from Route 522 to Warren Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Wilson suffered a head injury when she fell from a. moving automobile.
Amissville Rescue Unit responded to a traffic collision August 11 on Route 637 and took Nancy lee, Eric and Stephen Petty of Alexandria to the Fauquier Hospital. On August 12 the squad took accident victims from a wreck at Crosscreek to Fauquier. The same day they responded to a wreck east of Amissville on Route 211 but services were not needed.
Flint Hill Rescue Squad took Wayne Baldwin from Rappahannock Manufacturing • plant to Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal on August 15. □
