Timbers
Robert Hayward Timbers of Front Royal died unexpectedly Wednesday, October 4, 1972 at his home. He was 61 and a veteran of World War H.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon in the chapel of the Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal conducted by the Rev. James Price. Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery at Front Royal.
Mr. Timbers was born in Washington, Va., a son of the late Henry and Georgie Beckwith Timbers.
Surviving with his wife, Mrs. Mary Jasper Timbers, are two dughters, Miss Vida Timbers of Falls Church and Miss Janet Timbers, at home; two sisters Mrs. Leslie Smith and Mrs. Vida Carson, both of Philadelphia, Pa.; and four brother, Lyle, Henson, John and James Timbers, all of Philadelphia.
Pallbearers were members of the Front Royal American Legion Post 174.
