After more discussion, Foster moved that the request be tabled for further study.
“I’m all for mental health,” said Mrs. Coates, “but it seems to me there are too many questions involved.” Miller agreed, citing the case of counties “to the north that are sweating now trying to live with agreements — blank check agreements — they entered into years ago.
Foster’s motion was seconded by J. R. Latham and the approving vote was unanimous. □
