Johnson, Sr., a Sperryville farmer andorchardist, has been named chairman of Rappahannock County Farmers for Robinson. The group is backing re-election effort of Representative J. Kenneth Robinson, and is contacting farmers in the Rappahannock County area on behalf of Congressman Robinson.
In accepting the appointment, Johnson said; “Just check his record and you will find that he is one of the best and soundest Congressmen in Washington.”
A graduate of V.M.I., Johnson is a member of the board for Rappahannock National Bank and for Shenandoah Valley Meat Packers and a member of Rappahannock County School Trustee Electoral Board. He is also president of
