RAPPAHAN NOCK County’s Board of Supervisors approved joining the planning district at its January meeting on the 4th, after previously adopting the charter in the late 70’s.
Rappahannock was represented by Board Chairman J. Newbill Miller at the meeting Tuesday night.
According to Stanley S. Kid well, associate director of the State Division of Planning, this region will qualify for a minimum of $10,000 for aid in establishing and staffing the planning district.
