Game commission
to meet January 19
The Virginia Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries will hold its next regular meeting in Richmond, January 19, reports Executive Director Chester F. Phelps. The meeting wjll begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Commission Conference Room at 4010 West Broad Street.
In addition to routine business matters, reports are expected from the cochairmen of the BearTrout committee following a public hearing earlier this month in Roanoke attended by over 200 sportsmen. The Commission will not entertain suggestions for changes in hunting or fishing seasons or regulations until its public hearings on regulations on March 23.
Persons with other items to bring before the Commission will be allowed time on the agenda if requests are submitted in advance. □
