Miss Carolyn Louise Tholand of Sperryville became the bride of Daniel Sands Ward of Middleburg on Saturday, April 21.
The afternoon ceremony was performed by the Rev. Neale Morgan of Middle-* burg in the garden of the bride’s home Piedmont Farm. Given in marriage by her brothers Jens Tholand and Claes Tholand, the bride wore an off white crepe floor length -dress. Her lace veil was first used by her great-greatgrandmother in 1851.
She is the daughter of Mrs. Nils K. G. Tholand and the late Mr. Tholand. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Newell J. Ward of Middleburg.
