He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Thron Harris of Sperryville; two daughters, Mrs. Gene Meeredith of Woodville and Mrs. Gary Handricks of Casanova; two sons, Edward M. Harris of Casanova and John A. Harris Jr. of the U. S. Navy; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
