THE HOMEMAKERS Clubs of District VIII will hold its annual meeting at the Culpeper Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 2 with Rappahannock as host.
This is the fiftieth anniversary of the homemakers organizations and all charter members will be recognized. The meeting will convene at 9:30 a.m.
The program will contain skits and sketches portraying activities of these groups through the years, with a look also into future operations. ° Approximately 450. people are expected to attend the convention which includes clubs from Arlington, Fairfax, Fauquier, Rappahannock, Madison, Culpeper and Prince William.
State president, Mrs. Trammel Oliver, will be present.
