Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Hopkins Dennis of Amissiville announce the engagement of their daughter, Landra Hopkins, of Richmond, to Douglas Wayne Silvey, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Wesley Silvey Jr., all of Amissville.
A July wedding with a ceremony for immediate families is planned.
Singing program
The Copeland Family Singers will present a program at Amissville Methodist Church, at 7:30 Sunday evening.
The group consists of Warren Copeland and his wife, Virginia, and three daughters. Besides singing, they play the piano, guitar, drums and bass.
