Flea market donations
starting to come in
LAST SATURDAY, even with all the puddles and pouring, the housekeepers of Rappahannock brought their offerings to the collection centers for the “Super Flea of 73” set up at the Did School at the corner of 211 and the middle entrance to little Washington, and the empty store across the way from the County Agent’s office on Gay Street.
“The June Schedule for accepting super trash and treasures,” says Col. Pete Luke, moving spirit of the Library’s forthcoming 4th of July Flea Market, “is now set. All Saturdays, 10-3 o’clock helpers will be on deck to take your things at the old school and the Lea store,” he added.
“Here’s your chance to clear out your over-long stored and unused possessions,” says Col. Luke, “to straighten up your Fiber Magee closets, and organize your basements as you swear you’ll always do. Give your clutter to the Library’s Flea Market and watch your friends compete in the streets of little Washington on the 4th of July to buy it!”
