Among the local people participating in one manner or another in the endurance trail rides during the weekend which were held at Hume were Mrs. Sandra Massie and daughter Nancy; Mrs. Barbara Kilby, John Alexander, Mrs. Dottie Atkins, John Atkins and cooks, Miss Rhonda Morris, Home Agent and Miss Janet Parks of Front Royal. Miss Morris and Bliss Parks, with another friend, assumed KP duties for the three-day trail ride activities.
