Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Williams returned Sunday after a three-day trip to Gettysburg, Pa.

Bedford North entered Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal Thursday.

Mrs. Aubrey North and Mrs. Richard Burke entertained Tuesday evening with a buffet in the Burke home for members of the Administrative Board of Willis Chapel United Methodist Church. —

Fourth of July visitors in the Lawrence Chadwell home were Russell Curry and daughter, Bea, of Washington, D. C., and Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Chadwell and family of Fayetteville, N. C., who arrived Saturday night and are spending several days visiting in the community.

Mr. and Mrs. Orley Seal attended the recent Centennial service in the Bethlehem Christian Church in Stanley, Va., which was followed by a basket dinner on the grounds. Mr. Seal’s great grandfather, the late Rev. Thornton Taylor, was the first minister of this church.

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Travis and Douggy of Dans - ville, N.Y. left Thursday after a week’s visit with Mr. and Mrs. James Scott and family. Weekend visitors in the Scott home were Lee Hall of Skip with and Garv Williams of Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Parsons and daughters of Culpeper were, , Sunday visitors.
