SEVERAL traffic incidents have occurred the past week on local roads — none howevercaused serious injury or high property damage.

Rosie Mae Wharton of Castleton was cited for failing to yield the right of way in a two-vehicle collision on Route 211 in front of Hampton Inn west of Washington. She was driving a ’68 Chevrolet and started to enter the highway when she was struck by a ’61 Chevrolet. Operator of the second car was Patricia Diane Vest of Front Royal, according to Trooper G. F.
