THE CASTLETON KINGS softball team took a double header from Dowden Construction by the score of 7-5 and 14-4, and a single game from B&W of Culpeper by the score 21-4 at King Memorial Park Sunday afternoon.
The Kings were led in the double header by Maury Nichols with two home runs, one triple and one single and Dean Hahn with two home runs. Kent Henry was 5 for 7 in these games.
In the B&W game the Kings were led by Fred Fisher 4 for 4 and Stewart Henry 3 for 4. Louis Moore made several fine defensive plays in each game.
The Kings record to date is seven wins and no losses. They will play a double header at King Memorial Park, Castleton , this Sunday.
