PRODUCERS in Rappahannock County with Wheat and Feed Grain allotments must report their planted acreages to the County Office no later than July 15 to be eligible for program benefits and allotment preservation.

Producers who have no wheat or feed grain planted may be able to preserve their allotment by reporting conserving use acreages of grasses currently being used for hay or pasture. ,

Other benefits include Price Deficiency Payments which will be made if the market price averages fall below the legislative price, and Disaster Payments due to crop losses or prevented plantings caused by Natural Disasters.
