Charlie Priest, George Lawrence and Edward Lawrence dig the barbecue pit for the great pieces of beef which will be cooked Saturday for the annual public supper. The barbecue is sponsored by the Amissville Ruritan Club and is held at Amissville carnival grounds from 5 to 9 p.m. The beef is pit-cooked over night and served with a tangy barbecue sauce.
