Getting away from the rat-race to the beautiful, unpolluted, green, unspoiled mountains brings carloads of nature-loving city folks to Madison County. They seem to find hiking, camping, and just driving good ways to enjoy the scenery.
Old Rag mountain seems to be the big favorite. Its beauty is a giant to the eye when driving down heavily travelled Route 231. It is little wonder that the majestic mountain lures people to its many trails.
