A GROUP of Rappahannock young people have participated in track meets at James Wood High School in Winchester this summer. They have been coached by Miss AnnSpieker, a member of the faculty of the local high school. Seven competed in the “all-comers” track and field meet last Saturday and did well in the events. Classes were divided according to age groups.
In the 12-13 age group, Penny Jett took a first in shot; second in the 440 and third in the 100 yard dash.
