I am working on a ‘‘History of the Corley Family” which is set for publication in late summer. This family has been traced to the Counties of Fauquier, Culpeper and Rappahannock. 1 need to locate persons in this area who may have Corley ancestors, and other families who intermarried with Corley, (sometimes spelled Crawley), such as Ball, Bragg, Burch, Chadwell, Dulin, Duncan. Jordan, Maddox, Morrison, Myers, McGwinn, Poe, Settle, and others.
The earliest family member located was Richard Corley. His will, recorded at Culpeper Court House, names wife Effie, sons. Manoah Corley, who married Jane
