They have been attended by more than 100 media people, representing major, responsible newspapers, radio and television stations, and wire services, with plenty of time for discussion of facts—not the fiction written by prejudiced groups or individuals.

Finally, the Country’s economy and confidence are in sufficiently bad shape without adding to the misunderstanding and irritation by half-truths and omissions. The impact of inflation on gasoline, grocery bills, real estate and every feature of life does not make electricity immune to the same disease. It is absolutely impossible to operate, maintain and build for the future at today’s sky- 4 rocketing costs and charge yesterday’s prices for electricity. We wish it were.
