Man is charged
in wife's death
Carlton Lee Kay of Washington was charged with the early morning slaying of his wife Lucille VirginflT Kay, 22, Monday. He was released Wednesday on $5000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 18 at 10 a.m. in Rappahannock General District Court. According to Sheriff John Walker Jenkins, the autopsy report verified the cause of death as strangulation. □
